A Qoute That Means Something To Me

             
I picked this quote because it’s from a coach that coached one of my favorite teams Notre Dame. This qoute means something to me because every time I play football I push my self to get better or to work harder. To not give up because one day all that hard work will pay off all the practicing I do will pay off comes game time.

This book is about a 17 year old his name is Richie Perry he just graduated high school. He doesn’t have enough money to go to college so he decides to join the army and gets shipped to Vietnam. He meets friends while he’s there Peewee, Lobel, Johnson, Monaco, and Brunner and together they fight through the war trying to get out Alive. As Perry is fighting through the war he loses half of his friends and almost loses his life, when his first friend died he couldn’t get over it but then he had lost more and had to get used to it. As he was getting on the plane to leave Vietnam he was having flashbacks from the war. My question is, Peewee said that Perry has to visit Chicago before he goes back to Harlem? In the sequel Sunrise Over Fallujah Perry’s nephew sees him and a friend laughing and talking but they were talking quite.
